Breakfast at Tesuque Village Market

This past weekend I went to New Mexico to visit mi padre (Spanish for my father).

While there I had the pleasure of eating one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. A simple breakfast of beans with chorizo, eggs and a delicious slice of cheddar green chile bread.

This is what breakfast should look like every day

The above masterpiece of culinary design was the sight that greeted me when our meals were brought out. The beans were spicy and flavorful, the added chorizo added even more kick and flavor. The bread was perfectly toasted, with slightly melted cheese and just enough of that Hatch Chile that New Mexico is known for.

Tesuque Village Market: 5/5 stars I cannot wait to make my own version of the above!
